How to Reset Your Database in Aronium POS?

Be extremely careful with database reset in Aronium POS, you might lose your data. When you are learning Aronium, you might want to reset your database, or for whatever reason. Aronium has the options to reset you database.

 To reset your database in Aronium POS go to Menu, then Management.

Next, click on My Company.

Then, go to Reset database.

Backup database path:

You can't reset your database unless a backup file is created. This is very helpful because you will not lose your data. You can change the backup path if you want to.

Select entities to reset:

Select which entities you want to be deleted.

Confirmation:

Enter the administrator password to be able to reset database. If you enter a password other than administrator's, you can't reset database.

After that, click on Reset database.

A message will pop up asking you to confirm database reset. Click on Yes to proceed.

Another message will appear confirming database reset. It will also inform you that Aronium needs to restart and when you click OK it will restart.

Now, if you go to Management and see your products, there will be no products to show. Everything will be just like when you installed Aronium POS.

In conclusion, resetting database in Aronium POS would require only a few steps. Go to My company and click on reset database. Choose a backup path, select entities to be deleted, enter the administrator password and confirm reset database.
