How to Make Cash Sales in Aronium POS?

Making sales in Aronium is very easy and it is one of the advantages of Aronium. Whenever you open Aronium, it is ready for you to make sales. Just search the product, click on one of the quick payment buttons and the sale is completed. In this article you will be guided with detail on how to make a cash sale.

As you open Aronium, you cursor will be in search products. You can search products by Name, Code, or Barcode. I will give you an example of each:

Search products by name

To search products by name, you just type the first letter of the product name in search bar, it will automatically filter all products containing that letter. Most often it will be enough if you have less products. You can keep typing until you get the product you want.

In the image below, you can see that I typed "r" in the search bar. Aronium quickly filtered all products containing letter "r". I can keep typing, until I see only the product I want, or just select it from the list.

Search products by Code

This is the hardest to use, because either you should have memorized the code for a product or it should be written somewhere. Store owners use POS software to make their work easy and less time consuming. If I haven't convinced you to not use search by code, select the search by code option and type the code of the product.

It won't show you what is the product's name. you have to hit enter for it to show up.

Search products by Barcode

If you have a barcode scanner, then searching products and adding it to a sales' bill will be all automated. Just scan the registered barcode of a product and if it finds that barcode in Aronium database it will add it to sales' list.

With barcode search you don't have to enter. If it recognizes the barcode it will keep adding without any delay.

Defining quantity

You can define quantity before adding a product. Click on quantity

Add the quantity you want to sell.

Search the product and add it.

You can also, define the quantity after you have added the product. Just select the product and click on quantity.

Type the new quantity, and click enter.

Applying Discounts on your sales

You can give discounts to your customers on each product or on all items at once. You can also apply percentage discount or amount discount.

Applying discounts on single items

Select the item and click discount to apply discount on the item.

I am applying a percentage discount, but you can select either one. Type in the percentage or amount and click enter.

This is how it looks after the discount is applied.

This is a cash sale and it does not require a customer, so I will proceed the sale with cash payment.

When you are making your first sale with quick cash payment, it will open a new page with a summary of your transaction. You can turn off this feature, as I have shown it in the image below. The next time you click on quick cash payment with this option turned off, your sale will be saved without showing you the summary of the transaction.

Click Done to complete this sale.
