Boost Your Sales with Effective Promotions in Aronium POS : A Step-by-Step Guide

Promotions are a powerful tool for businesses to attract customers, increase sales, and build customer loyalty. In this guide, we will explore the process of creating promotions in Aronium POS.

To start creating promotions go to Menu, then Management.

Next, click on Promotions & actions. From this page you can create promotions.

Click on Add promotion to create your first promotion.

New promotion page will open with some fields and options for creating promotions.

Promotion name:

Write a name for your promotion to separate it from your other promotions.

Active:

Keep this option turned on during the time that the promotion is running. 

Start:

Select a start date and time for your promotion.

End:

Select the end date and time of your promotion.

Select the days between your start and end dates to run your promotion.

Next, search for products and add them to the list on the right side. You can search by name, code or barcode. Or, just breakdown groups and double click on the product to add it on the list.

Fixed price:

Select this option and set a fixed price for your product. Below is an example.

Discount:

Instead of fixed price you can select discount and enter a percentage. Below I have added an example.

Quantity condition:

When this option is active, the promotion will be activated once the desired quantity is reached. It has two sub options; Apply to all and Apply to next.

Apply to all:

It means after the specified quantity is reached the promotion will apply to all quantity of the product.

Apply to next:

The promotion on this product will activate once the defined quantity is reached and it will apply the discount or fixed price only on above the defined quantity. If the quantity condition is 10 and a customer buys 12 of the product, with Apply to next condition it will only apply the fixed price on 2 of the sold product.

After adding all the products that you want to apply the promotion on, click on Save.

Since the promotion is active from today's date, let's make a cash sale and see the effects of the promotion on new sales. Take a look at the quantities of the items. I have also selected two more products that are not listed in promotion. 

As you can see in the above image, items associated with a promotion are marked with a star by Aronium. The discount or fixed price is automatically applied when the conditions are met. And the products that are not tied to a promotion will have no star on their left side. 

Using the process taught in this article, you can create multiple promotions for different occasions to boost your sales and grow you business.
