In this article you are going to learn how to back up your data in Aronium using two different methods.
Aronium has vastly simplified backup by its auto backup. However, you can backup your data manually, too. We're going to learn both of them in this article.
Manual Backup:
To make a manual backup in Aronium go to Menu and then Settings.
Open Database page and click on Backup database.
Select the folder you want your backup file to be saved, then click Save.
You just created a manual backup file of your Aronium data. Check the folder you saved your backup file, there will be a database file saved in the folder.
Automatic Backup:
Automatic backup will save you a lot of time and you wouldn't have to worry about the backup of your data. You just turn on some options and Aronium will do the rest for you.
Go to settings and click on Database, Enable auto backup to activate other options related to it.
Back up database on application start:
This will create a backup file of your data every time you start the application.

Backup location:
In this field you can define the folder that the backup files will be saved in.
Remove old backup files:
Turn on this option if you want the old backup files to be removed automatically from your backup folder.
Number of days to keep old backup files:
After how many days do you want your old backup files to be removed, define it here.
After changing the options, click Save to enable automatic backup.
